Enjoy an elevated cup of espresso or splash of whiskey in these delicate, handmade cups. Made from fine white porcelain, these vessels are finished with a handpainted authentic gold design.

The Gold River Collection is inspired by the Japanese tradition of kintsugi. This is the art form of highlighting the cracks in broken ceramic by repairing them with gold, making the broken piece more valued than the original perfect one. This art form is part of the Wabi Sabi tradition, which is an aesthetic philosophy that highlights natural imperfections as a part of the beauty of the world and spaces around us.

The set comes with 4 cups and one matching tray, pieces are also available individually.

Simple, clean, and with an elegant modern flair, these pieces are perfect for wedding gifts, holiday family gatherings, and other special occasions. The luster is fired onto a glossy clear glaze.

  • Shipping

These pieces are made in small batches at the studio, in limited quantities. While we know you are excited to receive your pieces, please allow up to 1-2 month lead times as we carefully handcraft your pieces. There are a limited number of pieces made each year, so your pre-order helps us plan for how many pieces to make! We will let you know the current timeline for our next batch of wares.

  • Care

Our handcrafted dinnerware is food safe, and is fired to cone 6 for durable, everyday use. The Gold River Collection is NOT microwave safe. We recommend handwashing these dishes with soap and water. If marks appear on the pieces that don't come off with soapy water, you can use a fine grit sandpaper or barkeepers friend to clean them.

  • Packaging

We care about the environment, and use as much eco-friendly material as possible when shipping our ceramics. Our packing peanuts are made from bio-digradable corn starch and can decomposed in water. We do use a small amount of bubblewrap with each piece to ensure that it arrives unbroken. You can reuse or recycle our blank cardboard boxes.
