Marquette First Thursdays Art Tour began last year when a group of artists got together with the hope of bringing more awareness to the amazing art studios and galleries in Marquette, Michigan.
Now in it's second year, MQT First Thursdays continues with it's self-guided art tour around Marquette. Participating shops & studios host a special event each month, focusing on artist demos, visiting pop-ups, live music, and more.
Visit Rustico and Graci Gallery along Lakeshore on your way out to the studio, before hitting the collection of Studios & Galleries on Third & Washington streets in Marquette. Our very own Madelyn Pederson is showcasing her photography at Wintergreen Hill Gallery at 810 N 3rd St this month, and there is always a lovely collection of work at community galleries Zero Degrees and The Gallery MQT.
You won't want to miss Gordon Gearhart's blacksmith shop, too, which is a bit off the beaten path on 914 W. Baraga Ave. but is so worth the visit!
This month, Niik Creative Co. is collaborating with The Shop Eternal for a special Vintage & Streetwear pop-up event along with Dustin Burkman Photography.
